the BEST creative habits

You won’t get anywhere without your habits.

That’s exactly how I started our last email!

And damn was I right.

I noticed that the people who I used to respect have lost respect for themselves.

The habits they cultivate destroy their brain, their finances and life.

But that’s not going to be us.

I want to help you cultivate habits that help you.

But most importantly, improve your creativity.

And we did so a couple days ago.

If you haven’t read that email, I discussed the three requirements to build creativity via habits:

Today we’ll talk about the second one. A habit that relaxes your mind.

First of all, know this.

Creativity goes hand-in-hand with clarity.

If you are:

- Clarified
- Relaxed
- Mindful

You’ll naturally lead a more creative existence, and you’ll be able to use that creativity in your brand and life.

So, what are the best habits to relax your mind?

You know the answer:

Meditation.

But — there can be more.

I’ve done ALL types of meditations — but none are more effective than sound meditations and Wim Hoff meditation.

Sound meditation consists of you using the sounds around you as your anchor to the present moment.

Wim Hoff meditation consists of you taking rapid, full deep breaths. Two in, one out, VERY fast.

The reason these are so effective is because they’re natural. All humans ever had were the things around them. The sounds.

And all we still ever have is the thing that keeps us living — our breath.

This means that our creative lifeblood is fueled by everything natural.

Which is why frequently grounding myself in the present moment was one of the best things I’ve ever done.

However, there are more relaxing habits that you might prefer.

Some of them being:

- Reading
- Walking (Shoutout to Rick Urbanski)
- Journaling/writing
- Music
- Literally sleeping.
- Drawing

Steer clear of resistance, and just relax, man!

Powers to you,
